I've now caught up with Rhomany's classes (see previous post), and here are numbers 2, 3 and 4.
above is after Paul Klee, German Expressionism, which I dislike, but had a go anyway

this one is Pegasus from a coin found in Corinth 700-300 BC - Classical Art

and number 4 is Pre-Raphaelites which is one of my favourites. This is an image transfer, hand-coloured with blending chalks. On the facing page, it has some text from Hamlet, Act IV, Scene V.
I really enjoyed doing these pages as I have awful trouble starting any art these days. Seems like prompted classes are the way to go for me at the moment and that's fine! Thanks Rhomany, I'm enjoying myself.

Today, I started following a site that I haven't seen before, Rhomany's Realm rhomany.org.uk
She has a class called Mastering Journal Art Challenge.
Her first prompt was on the theme of Michael Sittow....Renaissance; to incorporate a portrait in that style or at least to use the same colours as the portrait she showed.
I was so interested that I really wanted to catch up (she is now on the fourth prompt), so I spent most of the day doing so. Here's the start of my first prompt (not yet finished), after Lady with an Ermine by Leonardo da Vinci. My lady obviously cared not a bit for her ermine, as she let it get away!

The rest of the afternoon and early evening was spent admiring Tee-Jay, my beautiful grandson...
